Unlike traditional idle games, TreeFi uses a Lethal Burning System. If you forget to water your trees, they enter a Burning State where their power rapidly decays. If a tree's Burning intensity reaches 100%, it is permanently destroyed. Stay active, stay green!
2. Store & Mystery Chests
To enter the economy, you must purchase a Mystery Chest from the Store using $TFC. This is the primary entry point for all assets. Each chest contains 1 Uncommon Tree.

Items are sold individually. Consumables (Water, Fertilizer, Anti-Bug) have a base duration of 8 hours regardless of tree rarity.

Maintenance costs scale with tree rarity. This "Action Tax" funds the Season Pool daily payouts. Higher rarity trees have higher yields but require more significant upkeep.
3. Seasonal Reset & Burning
TreeFi uses a Hard Seasonal Reset model. To ensure a fresh economy and maximum scarcity, all game assets are ephemeral and tied to the current season.
The Great Burn:
The moment a season ends and enters its 24-hour Cooldown phase, a global "Burn" is triggered:
- All Trees are Burned: Every tree (planted or in inventory) is permanently deleted.
- All Items are Burned: All unused Water, Fertilizer, Scrolls, and Repair Items are cleared from your inventory.
Why? This ensures that every season starts on a level playing field, prevents asset inflation, and maintains the value of new purchases each cycle.
Lethal Burning & Permanent Scarring
While the season is active, neglecting your trees leads to Rot Damage. This damage is split: 80% becomes repairable Burning, while 20% becomes Permanent Rot that cannot be repaired. If combined damage reaches 100%, your tree is lost before the season even ends.

1h Cooldown & Daily Settlements
A brief 1-hour cooldown period is used for Final Settlement. During this time, the forest is gone, while your mined $TFC is settled directly to your balance. This reward is automatically added to your balance once the settlement is complete.
Continuous 24/7 Access (No Season Gate)
TreeFi operates on an open 24/7 continuous economy with no lockout gates. Any player can enter, plant trees, and start mining at any time. Mined $TFC can be withdrawn 24/7 with decaying exit fees. Every tree operates on a graduated rolling lifespan (7 to 28 days) and continues mining across seasons as long as it has remaining operating time.
Key features of the continuous economy include:
- Zero Season Gate: Open access 24/7 without lockout deadlines.

4. Land NFTs
Every player starts with 3 free base slots to plant trees immediately. To expand your farm, you can own and equip Land NFTs. Land NFTs are on-chain assets that permanently grant you additional farming slots and passive production boosts.

5. Farming (The Grid)
To earn yield, you must plant your trees on your equipped Land NFTs. Every wallet starts with 3 Base Slots. You must own and equip a Land NFT (Rare=3, Epic=6, Legendary=9 slots) to start farming.
Ignition Fee (One-Time Activation Per Season)
The first time you plant a tree each season, you pay a one-time Ignition Fee. This fee resets at the start of each new 7-day season. Once paid, the tree is free to plant/unplant for the rest of that season.
Maintenance (Daily Upkeep)
Planted trees yield nothing if not watered! You must apply Water (required) at least once every 8 hours to keep your tree farming. Each water item costs a nominal maintenance fee (scales by rarity) and lasts 8 hours. Fertilizer (+4%) and Anti-Bug (+3%) are optional boosts that stack on top.
TreeFi uses a hard reset model. The moment a season ends, all assets (trees & items) are burned. No rewards are generated during the cooldown phase as the prize pool is being finalized for distribution. Note: Potion and Water extensions (time remaining) do NOT wipe and carry over to the next season.
If an ignited tree runs out of water, a 10-minute grace period begins. After 10 minutes, the tree suffers Damage. Damage is split: 80% becomes Burning (which can be repaired), and 20% becomes Permanent Rot (which reduces power forever). If combined damage reaches 100%, the tree is permanently deleted. Watering resets the timer and stops further damage. Crucially, while a tree has any active Burning damage, it temporarily loses access to all global Yield Boosts (Referral, Skills, and Land) until repaired!
Power & Yield
Every tree has a Raw Power stat compressed into Effective Mining Power via the sub-linear curve (Power0.75). Higher tiers also enjoy extended operating lifespans.

6. Fusion Protocol
Fusion is the only way to obtain Rare, Epic, and Legendary assets. You must provide exactly 3 trees of the same rarity to attempt a Fusion.
Ignition Requirement
Before a tree can be used in fusion, it must first be Ignited. You must plant the tree on your farm and pay the one-time Season Activation Fee (Start Production). Once ignited, you must unplant it (send it back to your inventory) to make it available for fusion.
Lethal Fusion Protocol
Fusion is high-stakes. If a fusion attempt fails, all three material trees are permanently destroyed ("burned to ashes"). This mechanism ensures rarity remains meaningful within the ecosystem.
Rot Reset
Additionally, successfully fusing trees will completely reset any Permanent Rot to 0% on the newly created higher-tier tree. This makes fusion a strategic way to cleanse heavily scarred assets.
Fusion fees are tiered: $0.20 USD (Uncommon), $0.60 USD (Rare), $1.80 USD (Epic). (These fees are dynamically paid in $TFC using the live Oracle price)

Rescue Shield Scrolls
To mitigate the risks of the Lethal Fusion Protocol, you can use a Success Scroll:
- Flat 10% Boost: Using a scroll adds a flat 10% bonus to your success chance.
- Rescue Shield: When a scroll is used, if the fusion fails, exactly 1 material tree is saved from destruction. The other two will still be lost.
- One Per Fusion: Only one scroll can be used per attempt (non-stackable).
Leaf Shards (The 100% Guarantee)
Leaf Shards are powerful items that allow you to guarantee a successful fusion.
- Stackable +5% Per Shard: Every Leaf Shard you inject into the fusion adds a flat +5% success rate. They can be freely stacked all the way up to 100% success!
- Matching Rarity: The shards you use must match the rarity of the trees you are fusing (e.g., fusing 3x Rare trees requires Rare Leaf Shards).
- Where to get them: Leaf Shards are primarily obtained as Bonus Drops from the Fishing mini-game. Alternatively, you can buy them from other players on the Player Marketplace!
Chest Boost & Pity Discount
Chest Luck Boost: Every Mystery Chest you open permanently increases your Fusion Success Rate by +0.5% (capped at +10%). Resets to 0% after a successful fusion.
Pity Fee Discount: Every failed fusion reduces the next Fusion fee by 0.5%.
7. Skill Tree & XP
Farming yields more than just $TFC! Active farming and fusion generate XP (Experience Points). As you gain XP, you level up your account and earn Skill Points. These points can be spent in the Skill Tree (accessible from your Profile) to permanently enhance your account for the duration of the season.

The game runs in 7-Day Seasons. At the end of each season, the accumulated Prize Pool is distributed, and the protocol enters a short cooldown phase before the next cycle begins.
Fair Entry (Dynamic $TFC Costs)
To ensure a perfectly equal playing field, all in-game items (like Chests, Water, and Fertilizer) have a fixed underlying USD value. While purchases are made exclusively in $TFC, our live Oracle automatically adjusts the amount of $TFC required based on real-time market prices.
Why do we do this? If costs were fixed in $TFC, early players would have a massive, unfair advantage over new players if the token price skyrockets. By dynamically adjusting the $TFC cost to match a stable USD entry, it will always cost the exact same real-world value to play the game, keeping the barrier to entry completely fair for everyone.

- Maintenance Matters: Only watered trees mine rewards. If your tree runs dry, mining halts immediately!

The sub-linear mining model ensures healthy rotation of capital and guarantees continuous daily token earnings without hyperinflation or whale drainage.
Automated Settlement: No manual claiming is required. Once the season finalizes, your TFC rewards are automatically calculated and transferred directly to your Game Balance. You can view your performance summary the next time you log in!
10. Referral System (Yield Booster)
TreeFi’s referral system is designed to reward players for growing the community without draining the seasonal prize pool.
The Yield Booster
When you invite friends to TreeFi using your referral link, they become part of your Tribe. If an invited friend becomes an Active Farmer (meaning they have spent $TFC to start playing, such as buying a chest or igniting a tree), you unlock a permanent Yield Boost for your own farm!
- Each Active Referral grants a +0.5% boost to your global mining yield.
- The boost is capped at a maximum of +5% (which requires 10 Active Referrals).
- This bonus applies multiplicatively to your hourly mining yield, making it extremely valuable for players with high-power trees.
Fair Economy Protection

13. Land Rent System
Not everyone has a Land NFT — and that's okay. The Land Rent System allows Land NFT owners to rent out their unused plot slots to other players, creating a passive income stream for landowners and a lower-barrier entry for non-NFT holders.
For Land Owners
List your unused Land NFTs for rent at a price you set. Renters pay you directly in $TFC every 6 hours.
For Renters (No NFT Required)
Browse available land listings and rent them for a fixed rate billed every 6 hours. Once rented, you can plant your trees on that land and earn rewards just like a regular land owner.
Cancellations & Evictions
If a renter runs out of $TFC to pay the rent, or if they cancel early, their trees are automatically uprooted and returned to their inventory. If a Land Owner forces an eviction, they are penalized and must refund the renter's current 6-hour block.
14. VIP Status
TreeFi offers aesthetic and quality-of-life enhancements for dedicated players. VIP status does not provide unfair advantages in combat or yield rates, but it helps you stand out on the leaderboards.
How to Obtain VIP
Unlike standard items, VIP cannot be purchased in the Shop. Instead, it is highly exclusive! At the end of every season, 10 random players are selected to receive VIP status for the following season as a special reward. 1. Introduction
Welcome to the TreeFi Fishing Mini-game. Fishing provides an active, engaging way to earn additional rewards while you wait for your trees to generate yield.
Unlike Farming which requires time to accumulate rewards, Fishing is an instant-action loop. You spend Stamina and Bait to cast your line, wait a few seconds, and reel in a reward.
The Community Fishing Pool
The Fishing mini-game is powered by a dynamic Community Pool. This pool is funded by the ecosystem (e.g., from marketplace interactions and a 3% seed from the global farming prize pool). When you catch a fish, your reward is paid out directly from this pool based on the fish's weight and rarity. If the pool is empty, you get a 100% refund on your bait!
2. Core Mechanics
Stamina & Casting
Every cast requires Stamina. Your maximum stamina is 100, and it regenerates over time (Base: 1 Stamina per 5 minutes).
- Casting: Select a Bait, pay the Stamina cost, and cast your line.
- Waiting: Each bait has a specific Base Bite Time (Uncommon: 120s, Rare: 240s, Epic: 720s, Legendary: 1440s).
- Reeling In: Once the timer hits 0, you must click Reel In to claim your loot!

Equipping Land NFTs on your main farm provides massive passive benefits to your Fishing experience. The bonuses stack up to a limit.

- Grinding: Level up your Fisher Level by catching fish (e.g., Level 25 for Rare, Level 75 for Epic).
- VIP Land Access: Owning and equipping a high-tier Land NFT (e.g., an Epic Land) instantly unlocks access to its corresponding bait tier, skipping the level grind!

The Fish Catalog & Collection Bonuses
Every unique fish you catch is permanently recorded in your Fish Catalog. Finding all the fish within a specific rarity tier completes a "Collection", granting you massive permanent account buffs.
- Uncommon Collection: +25% XP Gain, -15s Stamina Regen
- Rare Collection: -5% Bite Time, +3% Fishing Luck
- Epic Collection: +5% Max Fish Weight, +2% Bonus Drop Chance

In addition to full Collection sets, certain specific fish grant unique micro-bonuses (Trophy Bonuses) the very first time you catch them—such as increasing your Max Stamina Cap. These individual trophy bonuses stack globally!

Every time you reel in, the game performs two separate rolls.
- Roll 1 (Main Drop): Determines if you catch a Fish or get an EMPTY cast. The higher your bait tier, the better the fish pool.

The Ocean Bounty (Dynamic Multiplier)
The Ocean Bounty is a live, global multiplier that dictates the maximum profit cap for everyone fishing. It is designed to balance the economy and reward persistence:
- How it grows: Every time a player loses money—either by getting an EMPTY cast or by catching a small unprofitable fish—the Ocean Bounty increases, making the ocean "richer" for future catches.
- How it resets: The Ocean Bounty never decreases from normal catches! It only builds up and drops slowly over the season until it reaches its peak, leading up to the Fishing Frenzy event. Once the Fishing Frenzy ends, the bounty completely resets!
- The Range: The multiplier constantly fluctuates between a minimum of 1.4x (140%) and a maximum of 2x (200%).

When you catch a fish, your exact $TFC payout from the community pool is determined by the fish's randomized weight combined with its rarity multiplier, capped strictly by the current live Ocean Bounty.

6. Seasonal Persistence
What Happens When A Season Ends?
In TreeFi, living trees with remaining operating lifespans carry over across seasons into your inventory, while the Fishing mini-game protects your accumulated items:
- Prize Pool Rollover: If the season ends with $TFC remaining in the dedicated Fishing Pool, it safely carries over and seeds the next season's pool.
- Items Kept: Fishing inventory (Leaf Shards, Potions) does NOT wipe. You retain these items across seasons.
- Progress Wiped: Your Fisher Level, Skill Point allocation, and Logbook (Catches & Weights) are fully reset back to 0 at the start of a new season.
7. Player Marketplace
The Player Marketplace is a peer-to-peer trading hub where players can securely buy and sell game assets, exclusively limited to Leaf Shards and Potions.

To support the ecosystem's longevity and reward active players, a 5% Marketplace Fee is applied to every successful transaction.

- Stamina Potion: $0.02 worth of $TFC
- Water Potion: $0.05 worth of $TFC
